Manufactured 1888. Features No. 3 full blued octagon barrel, sporting sights, case colored frame, hammer and lever with walnut stocks and rifle butt. The .38-40 in the 1885 High Wall Model is virtually never seen, combine the caliber rarity with the outstanding all original condition and you have a real gem. Barrel retains approximately 98% original factory blue with razor sharp edges and legends. The case colors are nearly 100% intact with the exception of the bottom of the lever. Colors and extremely bright and vivid. Has a special order set trigger. Wood is excellent and proud to metal with very few minor indentations. Fine action and near mint bore. It would be virtually impossible to find a better condition .38-40 High Wall. An outstanding example.
