Manufactured 1916. This lovely, early pre-savage pre-World War I deluxe B Grade shotgun features light engraving at breech, full matted rib, single bead, and retains virtually all of its expertly reapplied barrel blue finish. Features a highly finish checkered splinter forend with Deeley release. All matching numbers and finished in the white. The boxlock frame is fully engraved with scroll pattern in the white and features a pheasant scene on the bottom. Has double set triggers. Engraved trigger guard retains 99% of the reapplied finish, as does release lever. Buttstock features round knob deluxe checkering, including side panels with black composite buttplate. Mirror bores. Locks up tight as new. The restorer of this shotgun did a masterful job and it now looks as good as it did the day it left the Fox factory.
