Manufactured 1910. This is an example of what is referred to as a two-tone high polish with Nitre blue small parts and deep, rich, royal blue finish. This has the Type D left side slide stamps introduced in late 1908. Type A right slide markings. Left side has pony in circle used from beginning of production to 1912. No arrows. Early "VP" proof on left trigger guard. Verified proof first applied in 1905. The hard rubber grips are the first rubber types used with scalloped "COLT" and pony in circle, which changed in 1911. Magazine is a beautiful pre-war two-tone with seven view holes, crimped base, stamped "CAL .32 COLT". Early diamond cut magazine release. Hint of wear on foregrip, muzzle and high edge of slide. Grips are near mint. Fine, sharp rifling. 95-97% all original factory high polish blue with high polish small parts.
