German World War II military issue Olympia typewriter. This dark grey steel Olympia typewriter was made in Erfurt, Germany by the “Olympia Buromaschinenwerke AG”. The "5" key has the SS runes above it. All the keys are present. The dark grey painted finish is 95%. The typewriter is packed in its correct case with its felt padding intact. Case is painted field grey and has steel corner guards. Inside the lid of the case is a mounted set of as assembled with a golden brown thread instructions and parts nomenclature list. A cleaning brush is attached to the top of the case on the inside. Case retains 85-90% of its original case. A seldom encountered Olympic typewriter set.
