This off-white linen winter smock is unworn. Smock has size marking of “III” which represents a large size. Smock has a large oversized hood which is meant to be pulled over the helmet. Front of hood has a steel hook, which is meant to clip on to front of helmet visor in order to secure the hood. Hood also has two tie strings. Smock is closed by five white painted buttons which are marked “68 19 JFS 42” which may indicate a helmet size of 68, and made in 1942. Each sleeve cuff also has two white buttons with a fastening tab. Two pocket slits on the front enable the wearer to reach his uniform pockets or field gear. A very difficult to find desirable piece of winter camouflage in great condition.

Condition: (Excellent).
