The left sleeve as the left sleeve has the wool municipal police insignia machine zig-zag sewn to the tunic. The collar tabs are factory machine sewn to the collars, and the slip on municipal shoulder boards are secured by an aluminum button. The tunic is secured via four removable painted metal buttons marked with an “A & S”. Buttons are secured with a steel ring behind them. The front of the tunic has four pockets, and each is secured with the same painted steel buttons, affixed with a metal loop. The partial inner lining is in blue grey cotton twill. Jacket is unworn, but someone has added post war markings in two locations. The lining of the right lower pocket and the left inside buttonhole area. Markings are definitely reproduction. A desirable tunic.
