An original German World War II Kriegsmarine battle flag approximately 77” x 132” in size. Flag is marked with an eagle and swastika as well as a “M” for the German Navy along the roped end. Flag is also marked “Reichsdienstfl. Gr.8” which means the Third Reich’s duty flag and the size listed as a numeral. A large Nazi party eagle and swastika is present in the upper left corner. Flag colors are strong and vibrant. Flag retains attachment loop and cord along top edge. Flag has approximately a dozen small holes throughout. A very large flag in great condition for its size.
