Flag has large double runes are each side. Consignor states flag was picked in Munich by US veteran in April of 1945. Mounting hardware is present on both left corners, and consists of two nickel plated loops and hooks attached to a cord which runs along the flag’s left edge. Fittings are unmarked. Sewing of runes to flag is superbly executed. Since flag is double sided and the runes are back to back, the thread used switches from white to black, based on which surface the runes are stitched to. Flag is manufactured with the correct era type of tightly woven thin cotton. Several minor snags, and white areas exhibit minor age staining. A very desirable flag.

Condition: (Very Good).
