Manufactured in 1954, this fine target rifle was introduced in 1938 as a more affordable alternative to the more expensive Model 52 target rifle. Features full round barrel, scope blocks, target adjustable round peep sight with Redfield adjustable target receiver sight, non-checkered pistol grip walnut stock, magazine fed, six-position adjustable front sling swivel, rear sling swivel, checkered steel buttplate and standard blued finish. Barrel and frame retain approximately 98% original factory blue with some minor storage marks. Trigger guard has high edge wear. Comes with one original Winchester-marked magazine. Wood is excellent with a few minor storage marks. Bore and action are excellent. A fine early high quality bolt action repeating target rifle.
