The Remington 700 has been considered a high quality no frills sporting rifle since its introduction. This is the higher grade BDL Model that featured hand-cut diamond section checkering on forend and grip with black composite grip cap and buttplate, black forend tip and sling eyes. Features blued finish with jeweled bolt and checkered knob. Walnut stock features Monte Carlo comb. Sports a heavy barrel sans sights. The frame was factory drilled for scope mounts, screws missing with light wear from removed scope. About 99% original blue on barrel. Minor high edge wear on composite trigger guard. 99% blue on floorplate. Wood is excellent with usual dings. Fine bore and action. Well-built varmint rifle.
