Late 19th century, each with a bell shaped body, baluster stem, spreading foot and domed cover with cast finial, the first with a vacant scroll cartouche at front, over four reserves (two with old repairs), the stem applied with cast female masks, the foot and lid rim with chased floral and strapwork, the finial cast as a classical female figure with a laurel wreath and cornucopia, apparently unmarked; the second, P. Bruckmann & Sons, with an engraved body with a later presentation to "Captain Noble Creager US Army, by officers of the US Army at Ingalls" (over an older erased inscription), the lower body, lid and domed foot chased with flowers in scrolled reserves; and the third, similar to the second, with the Prussian Imperial arms in an oak and laurel cartouche with gilt eagle at the front, and a presentation inscription for "Kaiser Wilhelm II and dated July 1890" with 750 standard mark only. Dents and old repairs. Height of first: 20-3/4"; second: 14-1/4"; third: 13-3/4". Total weight: 64.3 ozt. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
