An ovoid body and tapering neck applied with two cast horse's heads below a wavy rim, the front with a chased oval reserve engraved "Empire State Horse Show 1936 Champion Hunter presented by The Jockey Club Breeding Bureau", and on a spreading foot and plinth base. Marked "Sterling, 1936" and with indistinct maker's mark. Height: 20". Weight approx.: 74 ozt. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
