Finley & Taylor, Birmingham 1883. Heart-shaped body chased with a vignette of Aurora driving a chariot across the clouds within reserves surrounded by leafage scrolls and flower heads, the two handles cast and chased as winged female terms between cast and applied classical busts, the small lid with a cast figure of a saddled horse. Fully marked. The lid engraved J. D. Harris, Goldsmith. Queen Sq. Bath. Height: 26-3/4". Weight: 204.45 toz. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
