Appealing bisque socket head which is unmarked and has pale blue glass eyes, closed mouth with pensive look, pierced earlobes. Head mounted to a separate bisque shoulder plate which is attached to an all leather body with straight arms, individually stitched fingers, gusset joints at the hips and only a slight curve at the back of the knee. The cotton, gauze and lace dress with green silk ribbon insertions and trim could very well be original. Underwear is also antique, as are the black leather boots (one sole and heel missing on left boot). She wears a white sheepskin wig which is firmly attached to the head and cork pate. Upon examination we see no damage but pate has not been removed. Some typical age discoloration to leather arms with a minor hole in the left forearm and some wear to the lower legs, although still very firm.
