The shallow circular bowl chased with stylized leafage on a matted ground, the front with a shield shaped reserve engraved "Golf Championship Forsgate Country Club Jamesburg NJ", the back with a similar reserve engraved "The John A Forster Memorial won by Charles Whitehead" with two scroll handles and on a low spreading foot.
