Frederick Marquand, New York; circa 1835, with a vase shaped body, flaring spout domed foot and scroll handle all variously chased and engraved with leafage sprays, acanthus leaves and rose borders, the front reserve engraved "Presented to Col. James Page of Philadelphia, by the "Light Guard" of New York. July 1835". Marked under base. Height 14-5/8". Weight: 39.6 ozt. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
