Features 20" round barrel with grooved receiver for scope use, hooded sporting blade front sight, elevator adjustable rear sporting sight, two piece straight grained American walnut stocks with a matte varnished finish and Winchester monogrammed hard plastic buttplate. The Winchester Model 9422 was a smashing success for Winchester and well known for their fine finish and accuracy. These petite little rifles, however, where discontinued in the very early part of the 2000's. These rifles have become a treasured collector/shooter and are typically not offered for sale. This carbine variation is in very fine condition with excellent blue factory finish on barrel and magazine. The receiver retains most all of its factory applied finish with a trace of edge wear at the high points. The walnut stocks are very good with several very minor marks in the finish from light use. The bore and mechanics are crisp in proper function. Bore is bright with excellent rifling.
