These were made in Italy and hand finished in London to near exact specifications of the originals. They are the most accurate and highest quality, hand finished, Civil War period reproductions made in modern times. Features a round blued and hexagonal rifled barrel stamped "PARKER-HALE LTD. BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND" on top and left side stamped "Sir Joseph Whitworths Rifling, .451" and serial numbered on left side of breech. Hooded front sight and adjustable rear ramp sight. Casehardened percussion lock with English crown on tail and center marked "WHITWORTH". Brass triggerguard and buttplate, blued steel barrel bands. Partially figured oil finished walnut stock with checkered panels around wrist and on forearm. Right side of buttstock stamped in circle "PARKER HALE LTD." Complete with steel brass-tipped ramrod. As new, showing no signs of use.
