Springfield 11-43 dated barrel with narrow front sight and single slot gas plug. Locking bar rear sight with milled mid-barrel retainer with solid pin. All appropriate Springfield internal parts including square cut Springfield operating rod. Three piece walnut stocks with Excellent "S.A. GAW" in box cartouche. Mounted with a proper flat buckle green cotton M1 sling. Very good overall over 95% green/grey Parkerized finish remains with typical wear at trigger assembly and muzzle as well as high points of sights. Bore is very god being bright and shiny with a throat erosion of #2 and a muzzle erosion of 1.5. Stocks are good with numerous dings and abrasions. No sanding or refinish is evident. Mechanics function properly. A very fine original issue M1 Garand
