Manufactured 1859. Standard issue features full octagon barrel, five shot, single action with original varnished walnut one piece grips. All matching numbers including wedge and lever. Backstrap and trigger guard retain approximately 75% of the original silver plating. Case colored frame has softened to smooth patina with sharp frame legend. Original grips are excellent retaining a majority of the original factory varnish finish. Has 85% or better of the original stagecoach hold-up roll engraved cylinder scene. Cylinder safeties are worn and original nipples show various degrees of deformity. Barrel is basically gun metal grey with razor sharp New York barrel legend. Traces of color on lever. Strong rifled bore. Action indexes and locks up correctly. A nice, clean and above average condition revolver with some areas of cleaning evident on cylinder.
