Manufactured 1862. Features six shot, single action, octagon barrel, brass backstrap and trigger guard, and varnished walnut grips. Matching numbers or partials on frame, barrel, backstrap, trigger guard, loading lever and cylinder. Wedge not numbered. Backstrap is engraved "WM. G. SHIPMAN PRESIDENT / AUGUST 26TH, 1862". All metal is brown patina with freckling. Grips are excellent. Original cylinder is missing nipples and has deformed shields. Replacement cylinder and two cavity bullet mold all in a red velvet lined box. Very good bore with abrasions.
