Manufactured 1861. Features round barrel, ratchet loading lever, brass trigger guard, iron backstrap and fully fluted six shot cylinder. Matching serial number or partial 5711 stamped on frame, trigger guard, backstrap, base pin, cylinder, barrel and wedge. All metal is an age spotted grey patina. Barrel address legible. Colt patent on left side of frame. Cut for shoulder stock. Indexes and locks up correctly with a strong, clean bore. Comes with a reproduction shoulder stock.
