Manufactured for the German military by Mauser. This is a 1937 chamber date code S/42. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "S/42" and correct "(eagle) 63" Waffenamts on right side of receiver. Gun retains approximately 95% of the original applied factory blue finish. This is the first variation of the 1937 with strawed small parts. Gun is all matching except the grips. With a matching magazine. Good bore with sharp lands and grooves. Comes in a K.W.K 1939 holster with an unmarked loading tool. A really nice World War II bring back.
