Manufactured for the Imperial German military by DWM. This is the early 1908 Military first issue without a hold open device. Features include round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "DWM" and correct 1910 military proof marks on the left side of the receiver. This is an all matching numbers gun except the magazine. The magazine is a correct nickel with wood bottom that is marked "943l". Gun retains approximately 85% of the original factory applied rust blue finish with some high edge wear and holster wear with strawed small parts. Wood checkered grips with no chips or cracks. The checkering shows wear from handling and use. Fair bore with good lands and grooves; some frosting to the bore. This gun was issued to the Bavarian Infantry Regiment and is unit marked B.16.R.3.2.
