This fine London cased set features London address on octagon barrel, stagecoach scene on British proofed cylinder with original nipples, Colt's Patent on left side of frame and excellent original varnished walnut stocks. Matching serial numbers or partials on frame, barrel, trigger guard, backstrap, cylinder and loading lever. Wedge is numbered 325. As to condition, the barrel is razor sharp plum patina with the same rich patina on cylinder and 80% stagecoach scene remaining. Traces of nice colors on lever. Frame and hammer have patterned out and the frame has one marred screw. Same 60% original plating on backstrap and trigger guard. Indexes and locks up correctly. Fine bore. Comes in a period walnut case with copper Dixon bag flask, nipple wrench, Colt marked brass two cavity mold and Colt cap tin all set in blue felt lining. Lid has brass plaque. Nice little London cased set.
