Octagonal steel barrel with cannon muzzle, brass lock and engraved furniture and inlays. Full length stock with replaced ramrod. Fair condition, barrel retains a heavy brown patina. Lock is missing some components. Piece of inlay along buttplate has been replaced on left side. Brass retains an unpolished patina. Stock has some stapled period repairs and other scattered marks from use and minor cracks, small chip missing in front of lock. An attractive matchlock that displays very nicely!
