The butt of this revolver is stamped "U.S. ARMY MODEL 1909 NO. 39747". Bottom of barrel is stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" with "RAC" Renaldo Carr inspector stamp. "RAC" stamped on back of cylinder, right side of frame. Inspector stamp "FB" on right side of frame for Francis Baker. Revolver retains approximately 95% of the reapplied blue finish. Colt gutta percha grips in excellent condition with the exception of a small chip at left rear panel at pin. Original lanyard ring. Indexes and locks up correctly with a strong, clean bore.
