The Cobra featured a steel cylinder and barrel with alloy frame, blued finish, six shot, double action and silver medallion checkered walnut round butt grips. This Snake Series revolver was made famous by Jack Ruby in that it was this type of weapon that he used to kill Lee Harvey Oswald. The barrel and cylinder retain approximately 95% original Colt factory blue while the frame retains approximately the same percentage of the blue-black enamel finish. Grips are excellent. Indexes correctly with fine, smooth action. Near mint bore.
