This early example features front slide serrations, case colored round checkered hammer, blued finish and Colt gutta percha grips. Pistol retains approximately 65% of the original high polish factory blue. Includes an original 1884 patent date Colt magazine. Grips are excellent. Fine bore. This early gun has a fine homogenous look with even wear, no abrasions and spent some time in a holster. No factory letter, but serial numbers 8283 and 8286 were shipped to Browning Brothers in Utah.
