The Pre-Woodsman Model Colt was introduced in 1915 and produced until 1927. It is nearly identical to the Woodsman First Series Target Model with the exception of the low speed backstrap, diamond checkered walnut grips and "WOODSMAN" not stamped on frame. Pistol retains approximately 15% original blue, balance grey metal. Has a later "COLT WOODSMAN" stamped magazine. Grips show wear. Fine bore and action.
