Features round carbine barrel with two leaf express rear sight, two piece gumwood stocks and carbine butt. The Model 94 Saddle Ring Carbine in the .25-35 WCF chambering was very desired by ranchers and hunters alike. The United States Government procured a large quantity of these carbines in the early 1920's to be used to euthanize cattle in an attempt to eradicate a Hoof and Mouth disease outbreak. The light recoil and flat trajectory of these carbines was still not enough to keep them in production through the Great Depression. This example retains over 75% blue finish on barrel and magazine. Receiver has a modest amount of patina with 25% thinning blue finish present. Gumwood stocks are good with much original varnish remaining amounting to 50%. Bore is very good with strong sharp rifling. Mechanics function properly.
