Standard parkerized Model P226 with stainless steel parkerized slide, matte black aluminum frame, Hogue black rubber grips, double action mechanism, and features tritium sights. Complete with factory hard case,with business card of Texas Ranger Stephen Boyd taped to the lid. Includes three double stacked magazines, one marked "LAW ENFORCEMENT USE ONLY"; trigger lock and owners manual. Fair condition, showing heavy edge wear, scattered spotting, some freckling on small parts and grips showing heavy wear. This pistol is complete with a signed letter from retired Texas Ranger Stephen L. Boyd of Company F. The letter states that this pistol was carried by him in the performance of his duties of a Texas Ranger in Company B while stationed in Mount Pleasant. He carried this Sig during his assignment to provide security for Governor George W. Bush's first presidential campaign. He states that he transferred this weapon by serial number to his friend Terry Martin on July 4, 2012. Also included is a property inventory card, listing this pistol by serial number and containing Boyd's signature. There is also a large 2009 photograph of Steve Boyd with other Company E Texas Rangers.
