Features round barrel, ladder carbine rear sight, traditional carbine blade front sight, blued finish and oil finished two piece checkered walnut pistol grip stocks. Under detailed disassembly and examination assembly number 02049 was evident on lower tang of receiver, wood under buttplate and buttplate. The factory records for these late manufactured Model 1892 Winchesters where unfortunately lost many years ago, however Winchester was very good about marking assembly numbers on special order firearms and as previously mentioned these matching numbers have been observed. Barrel and magazine retain over 60% thinning blue with balance turning patina. Receiver has totally flaked and now is void of finish. Two piece deluxe stocks are very fine with matching assembly numbers and good sharp checkering. Finish is very good and attractive. Winchester Model 92's are difficult to find with special features and deluxe variations are one of the hardest.
