Features rolled steel barrel with traditional two line barrel address and chamber marked "10 GA". The Model 1901, circa 1912, was offered as an all blue finish as standard with 32" barrels in 10 gauge only. Walnut stocks with checkered steel buttplate with the unique two piece forearm. Receiver is "WRA" in script marked on left side of receiver. The Model 1901 was not a real commercial success as it was competing with the new pump model variation of the now infamous Model 1897. Fewer than 13,500 of these guns where produced with many serial number ranges skipped in the production process, and the serial numbers were a continuation of the model 1887. Fine condition overall as restored. The gun retains most of its contemporary blue finish with some finish loss at muzzle and high points of receiver and barrel bands. Walnut stocks have been re-varnished with no evidence of sanding.
