Features hooded front sight, folding leaf rear sight, lever activated bolt design, five round detachable box magazine, one piece checkered walnut stock with factory sling swivel, and black plastic Winchester monogrammed buttplate. The Model 88 was a relatively short lived production starting in 1955 through 1975 with fewer than 300,000 total production. Fine condition overall with most all blue finish remaining. Slight finish loss is evident at muzzle and high points of receiver. Stock is very good with light wear and handling marks. Checkering is worn at forearms but remains very good. Bore and mechanics are excellent and crisp.
