Manufactured from 1899 through 1902. Features single shot design with manually operated cocking mechanism and one piece gumwood stocks. The Model 1900 was an extremely successful boys' rifle. A great, small single shot to introduce young shooters to firearms. Made with a number of variations including a stamped butt with a checkering pattern and a stylized Winchester monogram. This pair are each slightly different with one having the Model 1900 address and the other having the two line Winchester address with out a model designation. The rifle with the model designation has the unique stamped butt with the Winchester monogram. Chambered for the .22 Short and .22 Long cartridges. Both rifles are mechanically fine but overall fair condition with worn dark bores with visible light rifling. Stocks are fair with numerous scratches and both have several minor cracks in the barrel channel. Fixed sights and simple take down design.
