Features round barrel with pattern 1903 sporting rear sight, tube fed from rear semi-automatic design with cross bolt safety, blue finish overall, varnished two piece walnut stocks and crescent butt. The Winchester Model 1903 was Winchester first endeavor into the semi-automatic world. The proprietary cartridge was similar ballistically to the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. Manufactured from 1903 through 1936 with a total production of approximately 126,000. Good condition overall as partially restored with excellent bright bore with sharp rifling. Walnut stocks retain most of their contemporary applied varnish finish. Metal surfaces have a mixture of thinning blue on barrel and contemporary applied instant blue finish now turning plum. Accompanied by an original box of Winchester Kopper Klad Lead .22 Winchester Automatic ammunition. Box has slight staining at edges with complete box flaps and is full (50).
