Approximately 1,621 carbines were manufactured during these three years. Features full round barrel, full magazine, double bands, post front sight, ladder rear sight, blued finish, walnut stocks, carbine butt, and saddle ring and stud. All metal is a freckled grey brown patina. Wood does not match. Forearm is shy and has a replacement. Buttstock has been refinished and is shy to metal with chipping at wrist. Very good action. Strong rifled bore. Very hard to find example with a good Western look.
