Extremely rare original brass pattern. Stevens Big 6 brass pattern for a cast iron floor train original master patterns used for making sand mold impressions into which molten iron was poured. Made by J & E Stevens Company, circa 1880. Now assembled for display. One of only two such sets known to exist and similar to the set featured in color in a double truck, pages 134-135 in cast iron floor trains.
Condition: (Excellent).
