Features round barrel, sporting blade front sight, elevator adjustable sporting rear sight, Marble's tang sight, and two piece walnut stocks with tubular feed. Barrel is threaded for a Maxim Suppressor and is marked "MODEL 03 .22 AUTO". Manufactured from 1903 through 1936 this was Winchester first successful endeavor into the semiautomatic rifle world. Chambered for the .22 Winchester Automatic cartridge. Very good condition as partially restored. Barrel is very fine and retains most blue finish. Receiver has been period refinished but is well done. Two piece walnut stocks are very fine with several small areas of distress and retain most of the varnish finish. Bore and mechanics are very fine. Tang sight is very fine with most all finish remaining and little indication of use.
