Features LMR manufactured barrel dated 1-54. International Harvester M1 Garand rifle with three piece walnut military finished stocks with the correct small Ordnance inspection on left of stock. All internal parts are correctly marked "IHC". The International Harvester was considered by many to be the best quality M1 rifles ever produced. Most ended up being issued for the Korean War and then left there with the Korean forces. Low survival and limited production has always made these rifles a difficult find. This gun is good overall with a good bore wand over 90% parkerized finish remaining. Typical wear is at muzzle and balance point of trigger assembly. Stock is worn but very good with numerous minor bruises and dings but no sanding or material loss. TE reading: 2. ME reading: 2. Complete with military leather sling.
