Standard late World War I production features full smooth trigger, wide spur checkered hammer, checkered safety and slide stop, and smooth flat mainspring housing with loop. Left side of frame has the eagle inspector stamp Type I and stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". Left side of slide has 1913 patent date with center pony. "MODEL OF 1911 US ARMY" on right side of slide. Has the two tone tempered pinned base magazine. The blued barrel has the intertwined "HP" sans serifs stamp used from serial number 425001 to 710000. Frame retains a homogenous mix of blue-brown soft blending patina. Slide retains approximately 85-90% of the matte blue finish with muzzle and light high edge wear. Razor sharp legends. Fine, strong bore with light frosting. Fine action. Very clean, untouched World War I Colt.
