These were manufactured between 1935-45 (13,800). Right side of slide is stamped "COLT SERVICE MODEL ACE". Matching number on slide. Left side of frame has the "RS" inspector stamp in rectangle for Robert Sears. Features blued finish, adjustable target rear sight, checkered arched mainspring housing, checkered wide spur hammer, short checkered trigger, checkered slide stop and safety and diamond checkered walnut grips. Proper barrel and Colt Service Model Ace magazine. Frame retains approximately 93-95% original blue finish with some storage marks on front grip strap and minor high edge wear. Approximately 85-90% blue on slide. Fine bore and action.
