This is an early pre-war Model B hammerless gun with small grip and is the first of the High Standard models. Ordered by the U.S. military for target practice and stamped for the right side of the frame "PROPERTY OF U.S." with Ordnance wheel. Features blued finish and black composite logo grips. Retains approximately 90% original factory blue. Top of barrel is stamped "PROPERTY OF U.S.". Fine bore and action. Includes one original magazine.
