Manufactured 1983 through 1985. The Super Grade XTR Express chambered for .30-06 over 12 gauge with "Winchoke". Coin finish receiver with arabesque scroll and vine engraving on sides and bottom of receiver. Blue finish barrels with 1-4X Redfield variable scope in quick detachable mounts. Barrels are appointed with sporting blade front sight with folding Lyman pattern rear sight. Semi-satin varnish finish on the two piece American walnut stocks with fine checkering at wrist and forearm. 12 gauge chamber measures 3". Threaded for interchangeable Winchoke tubes but none are present. Sling swivel eyes on barrel and butt stock. These combination guns where a very desirable item when introduced but quickly discontinued for unknown reasons. Condition, Very fine with most all finish remaining. Very slight traces of actual use is evident with typical storage marks from being in a gun safe or cabinet. Bores are perfect as is to be expected. Ejectors function in time with out issue. Single selective trigger functions properly. A very attractive combination gun suitable for most any North American game.
