Full serial number or partial can be found on frame, trigger guard, backstrap, base pin, cylinder, barrel, loading lever and wedge. Features full octagon barrel, six shot, single action percussion, brass backstrap and trigger guard, and varnished one piece walnut grips. Left side of frame stamped "COLT'S PATENT". Colt New York address on barrel. Cylinder has roll-engraved stagecoach scene at 80%. Pin is gone. Original nipples. Sharp legends. Frame screws slightly marred. Traces of plating. Butt is engraved "S.G. HYNDMAN". All metal is a fine aged, grey, soft patina. Indexes and locks up correctly with a fine bore.
