Twist barrels with matted, tapered, concave rib, single brass sighting bead, extractors and dbl triggers. Top rib is marked “PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. TWIST”. The “7” size frame has a zig-zag border and “PARKER BROS.” engraved on each plate. Mounted with lightly figured walnut, blank initial shield on top of wrist, two point checkered pistol grip with Parker hard rubber grip cap, Parker dog’s head hard rubber buttplate, and checkered splinter forend. This serial number is not found in Parker Gun Identification and Serialization. Fine condition. Barrels retain visible twist pattern, bright on bottom where covered with forend, a couple minor nicks and scratches. Receiver with traces of visible original case colors in protected areas with balance being a brown and silver patina blend. Stock is sound with good checkering, normal nicks, dings and handling marks and retains a fine hand-rubbed oil finish blending with hand-worn patina. Forend is sound with good, slightly worn checkering, some minor nicks, dings and dents and retains a fine hand-rubbed oil finish blending with hand-worn patina. Mechanics are fine, nice bores with only minor orange peel.
