Built on a No. 6 Frame, this colossal 8 bore Parker is a remarkable gun. The Twist steel barrels are their original length and have an unstruck barrel weight of 8lbs 150z! The full length matted top rib is marked with usual rib inscription and has a brass front bead. Double triggers, extractors, automatic safety. The capped full pistol grip buttstock is checkered in a two point pattern with vacant brass shield near toe and has a Parker Bros. dog's head buttplate. Splinter forearm with Deeley release is is checkered in diamond pattern with engraved steel tip. Receiver is engraved in standard N Grade pattern with sparse scroll around screws and on fences and zig-zag border pattern. Trigger guard bow with burst of scroll on bow and serial number at tang. All visible serial number match. Fine condition. Barrels retain a fine brown twist pattern with just a few minor nicks and scratches. Receiver retains 30% fading original case colors blending with silver and brown patina across balance point and fences. Stock is sound with good checkering, normal nicks and dings and retains a fine hand-rubbed oil finish blending with hand-worn patina. Forend is sound with good checkering, some minor nicks and dings and retains a fine, hand-rubbed oil finish blending with hand-worn patina. Mechanics are fine. Bores are shiny with a few beginning pits noted. A super rare Parker with only 29 noted in this configuration in The Parker Story.
