Manufactured 1943. Barrel is dated 9-43. All proper Springfield components including square cut operating rod locking bar rear sight, single slot gas plug milled forearm retainer with solid pin, Springfield marked bolt, barrel, trigger assembly, hammer, trigger, safety, operating rod and cartridge guide elevator. Stock is lightly cartouched "SA / FMF" in large box. Stocks show light sanding and application of additional finish. Parkerized finish is very good with 75% remaining with losses at high points of sights barrel and trigger guard. Bore is very good with bright bore and sharp rifling. Throat erosion measures 2.5 and muzzle erosion measures 1.5. Complete with a supple Boyt 1943 dated sling.
