Winchester proofed barrel with early locking bar rear sight. Milled stock band with solid pin. Winchester manufacture markings found on the following: bolt , barrel, square cut operating rod, trigger assembly, hammer, trigger guard. Three piece walnut stocks are likely Winchester as well with proper "WRA GHD" in large box cartouche. Throat erosion 1.5 while muzzle erosion measures just under 1.0. Bore is extremely bright with sharp rifling. Very good as partially refinished as further noted. Over 80% green/grey Parkerizing remains with typical exterior barrel loss and high point wear at sights, trigger guard and trigger assembly. Butt plate is as new period replacement. Wood stocks have been very lightly sanded with additional finish applied. A small repaired crack is evident on left side of butt stock just forward of cartouche. Overall a very good WWII rifle.
